Capacity:
12-18 people maximum Total area: Approximately 5m x 4.5m Available: 7.00am - 10:00pm Tariff: $30 per hour; 30% discount for charities (registered with the ACNC); 12.5% discount for 10+ bookings if paid upfront. The Rainbow Room is a medium sized, carpeted space suitable for meetings, interviews, classes, meditation, yoga or other similar activities. It can comfortably accommodate 12 people seated at tables (or up to 18 maximum). It is air conditioned and has plenty of natural light, overlooking the courtyard and garden. It has 18 comfortable chairs and 5 moveable tables on wheels available to use. It also has a whiteboard and data projector available for hire plus free WiFi. Lockers are also available for regular hire for a small additional fee.
There is also an internal communal courtyard available for shared use by all venue hirers. There is also an internal communal courtyard available for shared use by all venue hirers. The internal courtyard has a kitchenette, full size fridge, microwave, filtered cold and boiling water, and shared seating. This area provides direct access to the toilets and to the outdoor courtyard, which all guests have access to (except when booked). Note, hirers need to supply their own plates, cups, and utensils.
Access:
The venue is single level and is fully accessible with ramps and accessible toilet.
The Rainbow Room can be accessed via the front entrance using your secure PIN code - no need to collect a key!
Refundable bond:
A refundable bond of $400 is payable for all bookings. This is automatically refunded after seven days, provided the premises have been left clean and tidy, and there is is no damage or missing items.
Insurance:
Public Liability insurance for $20M is required for all bookings. If you don't have your own policy, you may be eligible to be covered under our insurance. An additional insurance fee of $55 per event will be charged if this is required. Please note that our insurer places additional conditions on its cover. You will not be able to use our insurance if your event involves alcohol, child related activities, or contact sports. In these situations, you will need to seek your own insurance elsewhere.
