Everyone is welcome at the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre Drop-In Hub — a place where everyone belongs.

This free, friendly service is open to all and provides access to a wealth of community knowledge and support services right at your fingertips. Whether you're looking for help or just a safe space to connect, the Drop-In Hub is here for you.

You can get information and referrals for:

Accommodation and homelessness support
Emergency aid and food services
Legal and domestic violence support
Mental health and wellbeing services
Centrelink support through our Community Engagement Officer
Healthy Ageing advice
Local community events and services

The Hub also offers:

A computer with internet access
A public phone for personal or support calls
A quiet, shaded courtyard to relax and recharge
Opportunities to join social groups and connect with others in your community

Information sheets are available on a range of topics including accommodation, emergency aid, meal and food services, legal support, domestic violence, mental health services, as well as general community information.

Low Cost Accommodation List

Newtown Neighbourhood Centre produces a weekly accommodation list for rental properties around the Inner West that are $350 or less per week, the list is updated every Wednesday.
