*COVID-19 Update*
Following the recommendations from the Department of Health and in ensuring we are looking after our staff, volunteers and clients safety, Newtown Neighbourhood Centre has temporarily closed its front doors.
While our face to face service is no longer available, we are still here to support those who need it during this lockdown period. Our staff are accessible via phone 10am – 4pm Monday to Thursday on 9564 7333.
If you or someone you know may be in need of assistance, please contact us today.
Our team will also continue to offer outreach support and assistant clients outside of the Centre and we have also placed our food pantry along with useful information sheets at the doors of the building.
Link2Home is also offering temporary accommodation for anyone who is rough sleeping during this lockdown period and have increased their flexibility for people experiencing other forms of homelessness. They are available via phone on1800 152 152 (free call).
We hope everyone remains safe during these challenging times.

Newtown Neighbourhood Centre (NNC) aims to build an inclusive, resilient, self-reliant and creative community.
The Centre provides community support services to the local community and in particular to disadvantaged groups such as the aged, people at risk of homelessness, people with mental illness, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and people on low incomes.
Here at the Centre, we provide assistance to people who are the most vulnerable, with a particular focus on those at risk of social isolation, homelessness and domestic violence.
We are only able to do what we do with the support of our community, and we want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!
