One Stop Shop & Chat 'n' Connect Newtown Neighbourhood Centre (NNC) hosts weekly on Thursdays One Stop Shop, bringing together a hub of essential services including Centrelink, Haymarket Foundation, Marrickville Legal Centre and Orange Sky Laundry, who can provide face-to-face assistance to all members of the community.
Chat 'n' Connect provides a safe space where community members can gather a chat over a free coffee and tea in the community courtyard during One Stop Shop, from 2 - 4pm. Learn more > |
Peer Bridge ProgramThe Peer Bridge Program at Newtown Neighbourhood Centre supports students and their families transitioning into High Schools by connecting them with trained peer mentors who help build confidence and belonging.

English and Literacy ClassOur free English and Literacy classes run with teachers Cliff on Mondays from 10.30am to 12pm, Sue on Tuesday's from 10am - 11:00am and with Jessica, Anika and Maia on Wednesdays from 10.30am to 12pm. All classes take place in the Rainbow Room. These classes are welcoming and open to anyone. No registration is required but attendance is recorded.

Newtown Men's GroupJoin us on the first Wednesday of the month for a discreet, non-judgmental chat between mates. Relaxed and friendly, this group provides men space to discuss their challenges and support one another.

Marrickville South CollectiveCelebrating the vibrant and diverse community in South Marrickville.
Marrickville South Collective (MSC) is a partnership group made up of several community organisations, including Newtown Neighbourhood Centre, Connect Marrickville, PCYC who work alongside Inner West Council to support the local residents and community members residing in the South Marrickville area. Paint Inner West ReadNewtown Neighbourhood Centre is a proud partner of the early literacy program, Paint Inner West REaD.
