A meeting place for seniors to connect through social interaction, games, exercise, information sessions and monthly bus outings to a variety of locations, such as local galleries, gardens and scenic drives. Our social group is facilitated by NNC staff and volunteers who aim to provide a friendly environment where members feel welcomed, are enabled to continue living independently, and remain connected to their community.
When: Fridays from 10am to 2pm Where: Newtown Neighbourhood Centre, 11-13 Darley Street Newtown
Eligibility:
This service is for people aged 65 and over (50 years or older if you identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person), who live in the Inner West Sydney Local Government area.
Must be referred for CHSP Group Social Support via My Aged Care.
