Meet, socialise and interact with other Greek people
This group provides practical and emotional support, information and companionship for people over 65 and their carers to continue to remain active and live as independently as possible in their own home and community. You may participate in activities such as: information sessions with guest speakers; recreational outings; communal luncheons, interactive games and an in-house library of Greek newspapers and books. Resources are available in English and Greek. These activities are designed to support social interaction and independent living and provide respite for the carers. Support Group for Greek Speaking Women Who: People over 65 in Inner West Council area from Greek speaking background When: Tuesdays 9.00am - 1.00pm Where: Herbert Greedy Hall, 79 Petersham Rd, Marrickville. Cost: There is a small charge towards some of the services and activities. There is no cost to carers for some of the services we provide.
Support Group for Greek Speaking Men Who: Men over 65 in Inner West Council area from Greek speaking background When: Thursdays, 9.00am - 12pm (outings are for the full day) Where: Herbert Greedy Hall, 79 Petersham Rd, Marrickville Cost: There is a small charge towards some of the services and activities.
