Meet, socialise and interact with people from the Communities of Former Yugoslavia

A meeting place for seniors with a background from any of the communities of the Former Yugoslavia, offering an opportunity to connect through social interactions, games, information sessions, monthly bus outings and cultural celebrations.

The group is facilitated by bilingual staff and volunteers who aim to provide a friendly environment where members feel welcomed, are enabled to continue living independently, and remain connected to their community.

When: Mondays and the first Thursday of each month, 9.30am to 1.30pm 
Where: Newtown Neighbourhood Centre, 11-13 Darley Street Newtown

​Eligibility:

• The service is for people who are aged 65 and over and who live in Inner West Sydney Local Government area (and surrounding suburbs).
• Must be referred for CHSP Group Social Support via My Aged Care
