Newtown Neighbourhood Centre is part of Sydney’s Multi-Agency Homelessness Outreach (MAHO), which was formed in 2018. This team of caring and knowledgeable individuals specifically focuses on areas in and around Newtown that are frequented by people who are sleeping rough. Popular areas include King Street, Newtown Square, Camperdown Memorial Park and their surroundings.
Individuals are respectfully and gently approached, and offered support to access housing pathways and case management, as well as information on how to access essential services such as our One Stop Shop.
