Liz Dickson
​BOARD OF MANAGEMENT

Liz has lived and worked in the Newtown area for almost 20 years, and is a very proud Newtownian. 

Liz has a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Catering and Hotel Management) and after management positions in international hotels across various States of Australia, she opened her own restaurant, Rubyos, in Newtown in 2005.  This led to positions on the Board of the Newtown Precinct Business Association, and the organising Committee of the Newtown Good Food Fair, both of which work closely with Newtown Neighbourhood Centre.
 
After selling Rubyos in 2015, Liz is now working full time with Fresh Catering, however she is still very active in the Newtown community, and is passionate about helping those in the neighbourhood less fortunate than herself.
