Multicultural Neighbour Aid

Focusing on the Communities from Former Yugoslavia and Greek speaking community.

The Multicultural Neighbour Aid Project provides companionship, practical and emotional support to the frail elderly (and their carers) enabling them to continue to live at home and remain active in their communities.

The project offers weekly gatherings for lunch, games, companionship and information. Regular outings are organised with transport and lunch provided. A gentle exercise class is provided every week as well as regular healthy lifestyle talks and initiatives.

Information and assistance is provided in managing individuals affairs, and referrals made to other community and government services. This is a Home and Community Care project, jointly funded through the NSW Department of Ageing Disability and Home Care.
