Newtown Neighbourhood Centre Inc. does not support any particular political party or social organisation but encourages all citizens to make their views known to politicians and parties on issues of importance to them.

Advocacy organisation for all pensioners and
superannuants. Campaigns on issues such as health, aged care, HACC and
public transport.
Council on the
Ageing (COTA) protects and promotes the well-being of all older
people.
Designed to promote the health and
wellbeing of older men, by providing a directory of links to useful
resources.
GRG (NSW) a website that has stories,
information and support links for grandparents who are raising
grandchildren.

Care
The Carer Resource Centre
is part of Carers NSW.
The NSW
HACC DOs Network is a structure through which HACC DOs arrange to meet
for mutual support and the exchange of information.
Peak Body supporting Meals on Wheels
and Food Services in NSW.
Neighbour Aid has developed creative and flexible
community based support services, primarily via the coordination of
volunteers to help frail aged and people with disabilities and their
carers.
Community
Council has prepared an Accessible Public Transport
Information Kit to explain the issues and priorities about accessible
transport in the local area.
A national website to help people find out what is going on in one’s own neighbourhood. We plan to use it for NNC events particularly with the new Marrickville Grows service.
Bicycle New South
Wales Inc principle objectives are to promote the use of bicycles for
transport, recreation, tourism and for improved community
health.

Penrith Disabilities Resource Centre Inc (PDRC) is
funded by the Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care (DADHC), to
resource and support people with disabilities who live, work in, and /or
utilise services based in the Penrith Local Government Area and/or
surrounding areas.

Interest Advocacy Centre is an independent, non-profit legal and policy
centre.
