The Newtown Kites

Activities are determined by the group and include information sharing, current affairs, art and craft, literacy classes, outings to community events and participation in local festivals. Guest speakers present on a variety of topics from safety in the community to drum making workshops.

The Kites have also embarked on a few money making ventures such as raising seedlings and making drums to sell at the Newtown Festival.
